Thor, the Norseman has moved!I don't think you can really understand what culture is unless you've been in a cult. My former workplace was a mix of two cults: That of Silicon Valley and that of Bitcoin. It just occurred to me that every culture is also a cult. If working somewhere can skew one's thinking, imagine what growing up and living in a culture does to you? Imagine being rescued from Earth by space aliens, and they begin to explain to you how mad Earth's culture actually is, and you have an epiphany?
