It's December 1st. Which means it's nearly Christmas.

What it also means tho, is that it's winter, and it's fucking freezing.

My main concern right now, is the latter.

People see snow and go "eeee Christmas!"

I see snow and think "...great, it'll be freezing."

Snow, to me, means Winter. Winter sucks.

Christmas is cool and all, Winter tho? Winter is -awful-

I'm hardly a fan of heat either tho, I must admit. My fav season is Autumn. Which is probably a bit weird, but that's me.

Wait hang on, I looked it up, Google says Autumn is Friday 22nd of September, to Thursday 21st December.
          ...
          Am I an idiot?

I was always under the impression the seasons were 3 months, on the 1st of each. So Autumn was September, October, November.

Am I mad? Or is it different in different countries or?

@katiekats At least in NL we talk about the meteorological seasons and the astronomical ones. The meteorological seasons are 1 dec - 1 mar - 1 jun - 1 sep - 1 dec, the astronomical ones are 21 dec (shortest day) - 21 mar - 21 jun (longest day) - 21 sep - 21 dec.
