    @uranther @h I think AMD has an embedded arm5. Not even on a separate chip like ME. The current CPU security landscape is bleak and I'm not expecting the hardware backdoors to be freed by the chip makers any time soon.

      @bob @h @uranther Still waiting for a no-blob CPU with decent power that doesn't cost an arm and a leg - Power CPUs too expensive. If RISC-V with reasonable grunt is available within the next 5 years that would be good.
