@Trev at some point i realized that trying to be authentic too hard was inauthentic to my genuine natural tendency to be inauthentic to some degree. Like being authentic was also associated with attributes that "authentic" people express so then in my attempts to be "authentic" i was just trying to be like other people who are "authentic" and ended up leaving behind genuine parts of myself that i just don't associate with the image of "authenticity" but which are actually authentic to my authentic self
