    "Which smart speaker should I buy?" How about – none of them? Or at least phrase the article – "do I actually need a smart speaker"? Tech journalism is often horribly complicit in upgrade culture.

      @neil These 'articles' are just Google-bait. For some reason, people still tend to search for actual questions on Google and these headlines often come up first in the results.

      My local newspaper often has such gems hidden on its website - world-changing 'news' stories like "What time is Strictly Come Dancing on tonight?" or "When do the clocks go back?"
