      I have given up on this problem, and decided to not have comments on my blog. Still, I'd like to see if somebody has a neat solution.

          I've seen some of these before.

          Staticman's workflow keeping comments as plain text files is good.

            @arunisaac yeah. My issue: many aren't maintained or are weak to spam. One of my main requirements is low effort, now and in the future.

              Yes, even staticman is probably not so easy to use unless you are using jekyll.

              I guess I'll just provide my email id, and people can email me if they have any comments. It is retro, but I don't want to put in too much effort on this problem.
