First snow of the season. A bit later than usual. No doubt there will be the usual hysteria.
-
@gomerx I'm surprised there would be any hysteria in a snowbelt state. Isn't snow in Winter considered usual and expected?
-
It's peculiar to Cincinnati. The hysteria is way out of proportion to the amount of snow we get. The rest of the state is pretty normal.
-
I really don't know where it comes from. The press doesn't help though. They tend to pump up the fear and exaggerate the threat.

My home town of Portland, OR is like that.
Light dusting of tiny snow flakes? "OMG SALT THE ROADS! GET OUT THE PLOWS! CLOSE THE SCHOOLS! IT'LL BE JUST LIKE THE DONNER PARTY!!" snow melts 20 minutes later
