Playing Scrooge is a wonderful adventure.

Teaching kids that a grumpy character can be approachable and playful was easier than I expected, I suspect in large part because Isaac Young's insufferably positive snowman provided such lovely contrast.

The highlight of the day was when an adorable child walked up to us, mocked my grumpy body language and loudly said, "Mr. Scrooge, you need to lighten up!"

And so he did. <3
