   Many, many, many, many moons ago, while I worked my first job (at a fast-food joint) the menus were all written word, and well organized too. We also had a small placard with pictures so we had something to show the illiterates and those who didn't speak the language of the land. Now, look at any fast-food menu (if you dare). It's ALL pictures. Now, this change surely didn't happen because "folks" got better at reading the written word.

      @GummyNerds I had to wait for the McD's menu to slip through 5 screens to get to the 2 for $2.50 menu, then wait again because I missed an item I was checking on.
