      Korydallos: Prison Struggle Continues!

In the context of the national mobilization in Greece’s prisons against the fascist provisions of the new penal code, the Committee of Prison Struggle mailed hundreds of signatures (1100 to be precise) of prisoners to the ministry, with the protocol number 66428, which ratifies the decision to continue our struggle despite the reform bill being ”frozen” for the time being.

We will not get affected by the damage caused by postponement, which the ministry uses in order to deceive us so that our mobilization would be ”forgotten’ and will become idle. Actually the effect will be the exact opposite, since we are already contemplating new ways to force the ministry to take a clear stance: either with us with the immediate solution and fulfillment of our demands or against us without the guise of pseudo-humanitarianism which uses in its rhetoric.

Our equipment suffered a lot from traveling around Europe for our independent on the ground reports. We need new microphones for better audio on our video reports, a new laptop (the last one crashed in Catalonia) and have a lot of expenses for our on the ground reporting.

We want to stay independent and want to expand our work with on the ground reporting across Europe and even beyond. Therefore we need your support. Help maintain our site and continue our work. Your donations make our work possible.

We did and do a lot of on the ground reporting in Europe. On December 17 we will travel to Lesvos (Greece) and in January we will travel from Lesvos to Athens to report on the ground.

Each donation helps, also the small ones. Thank you for supporting the Enough is Enough project.
