               I'm not a fan of the vandalism. As it has grown into tradition, maybe the town should appropriate the burning of the goat. They could have a small bonfire each night culminating a full on burning of the goat, maybe even having a contest to choose someone to set the goat on fire. Unfortunately, the vandals will probably not accept such a balance.

            @zoowar I'm a fan of the molotov cocktail method. You could probably sling that from far enough that the security guard couldn't catch you.

            @zoowar (For those who don't want to click through, Gävle is a town in sweden. They make a hay goat every year for christmas. Most year this goat gets destroyed one way or another for fun. When I say Gävle there I'm referring to their goat.)
