It's beer o'clock, enjoying a pint of Heverlee. Cheers !fediverse *raises glass*
-
@kevie Been enjoying some locally brewed pale ale myself :) That was last night though.
-
@tekk good on you for supporting local, sadly this place has no local drinks, Heverlee is from Belgium, but nice for a blonde beer
-
@kevie Aww. My town's freakishly good for beer: 20,000 non-student residents and we have 5 breweries. The stuff I have now is from the next town over though. Our uni has one of the best brewing programs in the US, apparently, which is why we have so many breweries.

@tekk we have one local brewery which used to make really good beer. Now it produces stuff that is worse than the supermarket own brand pish water. A shame as it was nice having a decent brewery on my doorstep
-
@kevie That's sad. I haven't tried a few of the breweries around here, but Booneshine makes a porter which is my favorite beer period, and AMB (where my current beer is from) does a really good hard cider, the pale ale isn't bad either, but I generally prefer darker beers.
