theory: if you do enough things you are unqualified for you eventually become qualified in doing things that you are unqualified for overall and it is a pretty handy skill to develop if you like doing stuff

@icefox these are important possible side-effects, yes, and deserve special attention. I have nasty relationships with all of those and some deep cycles of burnout besides, but I think talking about them more often over the last few years has helped me quite a bit
