I'm sick of Firefox. I don't want to use Chromium because it is non-free. I use !icecat. Icecat is alright, but I wouldn't mind switching to something simpler. I'm looking for non-Firefox non-webkit browsers, hopefully something that is reasonably well maintained. Any pointers?-
@kmicu@mastodon.social (kmicu@mastodon.social)'s status on Sunday, 17-Dec-2017 06:27:37 EST @kmicu@mastodon.social @arunisaac there is plenty of them if you do not mind lack of js support. If you want a secure, well maintained browser with JS then we can laugh-cry together.
Mozilla is doing stupid things, but they are relatively harmless. At the same time they do many, many good things https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/moss/
The recent faux pas is not a good reason to undertake a daunting task of creating a browser (js engine, layout engine and so on) from scratch.
