@celesteh Probably they're trying to cut the price by reducing the duration. If you're an average young person today the cost/benefit of higher education isn't really worth it, because you're likely to spend decades paying off the loans. If it's anything like the trends in the US then it's now pretty clear that the average person can't expect to better their standard of living through the university system - as was the case in previous decades, especially for baby boomers. The only chance of improving things now if you're not a one percenter is via political organization.
