     @Mirk0 ich fahre normalerweise mit der Bahn, was auch auf dem europäischen Kontinent gut klappt. Es geht jetzt aber in die USA. Das ist mein erster internationaler Flug seit fast genau 20 Jahren.

   Ich bin ja schon ein wenig fies. Mein Vermieter hat mir eine automatisierte Mail mit dem Betreff "neue Bankverbindung" geschickt, der Text enthält einen Link, in dem wohl mehr steht. Ich hab jetzt den Vermieter angemailt, ob die Mail wirklich vom ihm ist 😀

     Nope. Sie enthielt meinen korrekten Namen (kein Indiz) und die Vertragsnummer (das ist schon ein relativ starkes Indiz) und der Link (mit Tracking-Informationen) verweist auf eine Subdomain des Vermieters. Aber dennoch könnte die Vertragsnummer auch geleakt sein und der Link könnte XSS enthalten, denn der Trackingcode ist sehr lang.

     Die Mail kommt von SendGrid, einem Anbieter für Massenmails. DKIM passt aber. Dementsprechend denke ich, dass die Mail von denen ist.

     Thunderstorms in Hong Kong are an all-encompassing event. "The city is under thunder now." A constant dull roar of thunder and half an hour of continual strobe lights with occasional glorious sharp streaks across the sky.

   The Marshal, Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, was soon headhunted by the Swedish establishment to become Karl XIV Johan, the new King of Sweden, and gave up the princedom. His dynasty formally rules Sweden to this day.

   Pontecorvo today has a population of ~13000, the same size population as the bunch of towers on top of a shopping mall where I live.

    One of kid's classmates had a surprising anti-gay opinion, so he's been asking around a bit where people stand. Thankfully, that kid seems to be the outlier.

    Made me remember that time half a life ago when I accidentally "came out" to a friend ... I admitted my interest for a woman with an ambiguous nickname and hilarity ensued.

    My friend's response was so overwhelmingly excited and supportive that I promised that if I ever discovered I was gay, I was sure to go to him first with the news. 🥰

    Resting my phone upright on my keyboard and screen, and mere seconds later trying to move my laptop cursor onto the phone screen.

    Security issues aside, would be neat if screens and their devices actually worked like this, like they do in stuff like Trek, you just grab objects and fling them in the geographic direction of other screens.

    I know what people say about YouTube comments, but for the kind of videos I tend to watch, the comments are overwhelmingly of the delightful sort.
