                Aaagh, stop causing long email threads because you:
                1) Don't understand each other's business processes and can't tell that the no big deal little exception you made is going to cause an issue in the other department
                2) Don't explain clearly the issue the first department caused for yours

                As much as I hate to see the thread, I'm glad when I end up in the middle and can explain to them why they don't understand each other.

                It makes me feel useful when my professional curiosity and all the asking and listening I've been doing for years pays off. 😁

                            It's becoming more and more common that I can't search-fetch a post. Reposting it from another place brings it here and then I can search and find it.

                            I'm guessing this is because more sites are enabling authorized fetch and Friendica hasn't yet implemented it ... for search specifically? Otherwise I shouldn't get the reposts either?

                            Not pushing anyone to do anything, it's not a weird corner case, I'm sure the relevant people are aware and it's in the backlog, and a fix will arrive in due time.

                              @Hypolite Petovan The strangest thing is I can go repost these on another account I'm following and they'll propagate into Friendica just fine. So Friendica *can* fetch them (IceShrimp reposts are thin reposts, right? Just a reference to the original, not the whole content?), it just won't do it from search.

                              Once they're on the local server, search will of course find them.

                              Any good and fun interactive Lua tutorials out there? He enjoyed Scratch because in a visual language everything is discoverable, so he could teach himself while staying within the tool and only going to YouTube when something was extra tricky.

                              He found some promising tutorials within Roblox itself, but they turned out to have internal consistency issues, like asking you to create a local variable without first having explained the concept and syntax.
