Both Discovery with the utopian approach of rebuilding Federation in the 28th century, uniting the galaxy for common good and clarifying misunderstandings with alien species a diplomatic way. And Picard simply putting up a mirror for us to reflect were thy dystopia of 2022--sorry 2024--might lead to.
