Besides the fact that it represents an attempt to sublimate our economic system directly from capitalism to Soviet socialism, forcing internet connections on offline products is the bane of user experience.
On the contrary, making people dependent on private companies profiting of a public good is the most capitalistic thing i can think of. But I have to admit capitalism is also very good at making its worse aspects look like it isn't part of itself. Ultimately, no actual large scale government system will tend towards a greater individual empowerment because it would mean relinquishing some of this intoxicating power.

Perhaps you notice a change within your personal situation when visiting a conference for your skills using a company. But in general you're doing the same as everyone else and when you talk about "changing paradigm" you should notice the upcoming lie within.
Exactly that's the point: You're using #capitalism and benefits from that. But well some people think this is a good idea, even this is proclaimed on #Diaspora. That's the reason I can't believe within the goals of this "project". Creating an #open-source #Facebook and claiming the other way around?
