Is anyone familiar with Hawkeyesec's scanner-cli?

I've been playing around with it, feeding it the requirements.txt of a python project, and it doesn't turn up any CVEs even if I use a version of the file that's more than a year old. I guess it's possible that there haven't been any known vulnerabilities in the specific mix of python libraries I have, but it makes me suspicious that the 'python-safety' tool doesn't work.

WordPress vulnerabilities–path traversal + local file inclusion = remote code execution:

    https://blog.ripstech.com/2019/wordpress-image-remote-code-execution/

    – the vulnerability was there for 6 years
    – fixed in WordPress 4.9.9 and 5.0.1, however, path traversal is still possible under certain circumstances

    Time for a #reintroduction then!

    I'm a guy from northern #Italy, who love #FLOSS, #selfhost things, #privacy & #security, trying to help as #translator for some projects.

    I do #cycling #mtb, #commute to work, and i love walk in the #nature, on #hills or #mountains.

I play #trumpet in my spare time.

That's pretty much all of me for this #introduction! 😉
