@clarjon1 @karolat
Mastodon has several ways to do it, most of which involve suspending an account or changing the last update time (`accounts.last_webfingered_at`) to 0.
Pleroma can do it by using the CLI:
```
$ MIX_ENV=prod iex -S mix
iex(1)> Pleroma.User.fetch_by_ap_id("https://stereophonic.space/users/karolat")
[...]
```
Or if you want to invalidate the entire cache, you can use SQL:
```
UPDATE users SET last_refreshed_at=0 WHERE local=false;
``` -

i did take responsibility for the regression, several times now.
do you want a workaround or not? if you want to continue being shitty to me, i'll assume you don't.In conversation from pleroma.site permalink -

@karolat i have already fixed the underlying cause yesterday. you just have to wait it out, or disable the spam protection for a while. i can add a config option for that. In conversation from pleroma.site permalink -

@karolat
you can't follow some users because they have a cached profile for your users with the wrong endpoints, which cause the Accept Follow messages to be dropped due to spam protection.
if it will help, i can add a config option to disable the spam protection.In conversation from pleroma.site permalink -

if you’re on pleroma develop and people are unable to follow you, update the software. this was caused by the wrong route being used for the
sharedInbox
.new inbox routes were introduced recently, and the final merge was in the wrong order because i’m an idiot and don’t know what i’m doing.
