Any time I see that sanctimonious, hypocritical "we value your privacy" popup, my immediate response is to close the browser window.

If you really value folks privacy, the answer is simple: do not set, do not read, do not allow to be set, any tracking cookies.

The weather outside is vile. But the stove is lit, the house is warm, the kettle's on, and there are windfall apples stewing.

Life could be a lot worse.

I've been doing a lot of 'please don't post text as images, it's unfair to blind users', but like you say you get to feel you're being boring.

I think we should stick to it, though. It's part of making Mastodon a more civil, thoughful, welcoming environment.
