@Iamthebammbamm and the USA is a democracy. I never suggested it should be a direct democracy, just simply that voting for president every vote should count the same. End of story and anyone that disagrees can only be an anti democratic schmuck who just cares for Republicans to have a chance. Electoral college was invented in a time when airplanes, cars and the Internet did not exist. Now we have those things the electoral college makes ZERO sense. End of story.
@Iamthebammbamm all the campaigns are on TV anyway, it should not matter if you travel to this or that city, village or whatever, the way presidential elections are today are completely insanely bullshit. Today 95% of votes in presidential elections don't matter, if you don't happen to live in a swing state, your vote does not matter. That is super bullshit. Every vote should count the same. Democrats can easily shame Trump into agreeing to make it by the popular vote the next time.
@Iamthebammbamm I'm bigoted? Voters from the confederate states hated that there was a black president so much they flocked to vote from Trump because his whole presidential campaign started by Trump claiming Obama was born in Kenya and continued by him saying that brown people are rapists and criminals and that they need to pay for a wall to keep them out. Trump was elected by the racists in the racist states of the USA. How am I the bigoted one?
@Lordimpala and who knows, if Trump is too much of a pussy to accept that the next election must be without the electoral college just straight up popular vote. Nobody other than Trump has to be convinced of it. It might probably be able to do that as an executive order (even if challenged by constitution courts or whatever) and who knows maybe the 30 million population of Texas and other Republican votes a bit everywhere, maybe they'd also balance some of it out. But likely he'd lose big time.
@Iamthebammbamm square miles don't have a vote. The people do. Subsidized wannabe hillbilly farming slave owner descendents votes don't get to count 20x more than a minority voter who happens to live in a city.
@Lordimpala you got to be kidding. California has 40 million people, 98% of which will always vote for a Democratic president. New York has 20 million people also 98% of which will always vote Dem president. Trumpie just has to be bullied into accepting that the next election has to be done by the popular vote and that would overnight abolish the electoral college and then Trump would be the last Republican president in history.
Michael Moore suggest Democrats need to get rid of the electoral college. Gerrymandered districts, states cheats Republicans into the white house, the USA is a liberal majority, since 1988 only 1 presidential election had a Republican majority (2004 cause John Kerry was too much of a boring schmuck it should have been Howard Dean instead) https://youtu.be/qJS6zDqsgEo
@irritable no collusion, except between Donald fake hair and dumb. Haha. His only escape is to become the best Dem president ever after mid term. If not, impeachment!
@irritable everything the Donald does is completely random, completely improvised, just based on his current mood and feelings about what they are saying about him in the media especially on Fox. I am not saying improvised presidenship necessarily has to be bad, I think perhaps he has somekind of "nobody knows what he's going to say or do next" style which can be a good thing if used right. I think after Dems win back congress after mid terms I think Trump will pivot to be a Dem president.
The Supreme Court just ruled the government's decades-old practice of warrantlessly tracking your historical movements via cellphone records (CSLI) has in many cases violated the constitutional right to privacy. Major victory for ACLU ― and America. @adamhttps://twitter.com/Snowden/status/1010172998291283968?s=09
@Wookhash legalities are BS, the kids are being kidnapped by Trump nazi forces en masse now, stuff like that barely happened before. It's just purely Trump/Sessions stupidity. Just trying to make it easier for the Dems to take congress at mid-term.
@Wookhash Ben Shapiro is your source? How about you get a source that has a count on how many children have been separated from their parents after Trump is president compared with before? How many kids have been separated from their parents in May 2018 vs May 2016 or May 2014?
@Wookhash@yukiame separating kids from their parents is pretty much nazi methods, Trump is a total moron to be pushing for the enforcement of that kind of practice. Dems haven't controlled all of presidency and congress since 2010 and even then the Dem majority was too thin for them to be able to enforce Dem policies (the Dems from conservative states blocking real change) so don't blame Dem for repubs not being able to get anything done when it comes to immigration policy.
