@kcmmrl @IndyHavoc those are the worlds top climate scientists, to deny it is like saying that climate science is BS, it is not. Climate science is a respectable very researched area of science. And 91-97% of all the world's peer reviewed and peer published climate scientists agree. That simple.

@jco42 the link I posted refers to about a dozen studies saying from 97% to 91% of all climate scientists agree. If you want to say it's bunk it would be like saying that all the Universities in the world are bunk and they are somehow all corrupt by Al Gore (and somehow not corrupt by the Trillion dollar oil industry)

@IndyHavoc It's is very clearly a poll on EVERY published climate scientist. Those who have published articles in those worldwide peer reviewed journals for scientists, it's not a poll on every scientist, specifically a poll on the scientists who are experts about the earth's climate.

@IndyHavoc https://www.ucsusa.org/global-warming/science-and-impacts/science/scientists-agree-global-warming-happening-humans-primary-cause#.W5i0o4Eo-eM the 97% is a fact. The only way you can dispute it is if you don't agree that scientific journals are scientific. If you don't agree with the way all the major established and respected scientific journals, those that have thus been established for up to centuries as the place where humans debate and agree on scientific consensus, if you want to claim that all Universities in the world (they control the journals) are BS then that would be your argument.

97% of climante scientists agree. climate scientist = climate related paper published in scientific journal so basically NA thinks scientific journals are bullshit? And if they were corrupt then they'd be corrupt by the Trillion dollar oil and gas industry. Not by the small pocket change peanuts industry of photovoltaic and wind.

@adam Some white hipster programmer dudes living in Mountain View eating vegan veggies thinks Google, a near Trillion dollar company, should not provide it's awesome technologies to the 1.3 Billion people in China. That's just so fucking short sighted, selfish and wrong. Think of all these super nice Chinese people!! They deserve Google algorithms too! So what if China asks to filter out a few search queries, you think NSA/CIA doesn't track all Google users search?? Are you joking me?

@adam it was wrong of Google to quit China just because a few people were put in jail for what they were writing on their Gmails cause China had hacked Google during a Christmas break a few years ago. US has 7.4 million people in jail for smoking or dealing dope and other BS reasons (actually racist reasons, most jailed in the US are black and latin people). So US really has no lessons to teach China. If China wants a dictatorial Communist party in power, it's China's problem. China's capitalist

@SirBaz I guess we can manage in Europe and Australia. But imagine how devastating this can be right now for the Billions of people who depend on harvests for food, who can't get water. For them it's a nightmare and could be catastrophic. The increase in extreme weather events, high temperatures and humans peaking our over-consuming of burning up fuel, coal and other polluting into the athmosphere isn't just a coincidence.

@DrChris precedent was set by repubs who blocked Obama's nominee something that has never been done before in the history of your crap country. Anyways who cares, the more the US is fucked up the better for the rest of the world.

@Wookhash @DrChris if Dems lose in mid terms then fine Trump can chose to remove roe wade judge and he can resist impeachment maybe. Do Dems win he and Pence will be impeached and judge will be a Dem, easy.

@DrChris the precedent is NOT Kagan it's Gorsuch. Repubs thought they could block Obama's Supreme Court nominee saying it's unfair to let him do it in an election year so that precedent has to be enforce back at them. Trump must not be allowed to pick any candidate before the mid-terms and after the mid-terms he will be impeached (so will Pence) so a Democrat will pick the next supreme court nominee.

@Iamthebammbamm and all the gerrymandering bullcrap was never intended by the founding fathers, all that crap has been added mostly recently by asshole republicans too afraid to try to campaign to brown people, so they made sure to put all the communities of brown people into districts for themselves taking away their power. Never ever was it the intention of founding fathers to have to decide that one vote be worth 3.6 times more than someone else's vote in California. Swing states are bullcrap

@Iamthebammbamm No it is not. Representative democracy was quite simply a requirement 200 years ago, before airplanes, cars and Internet existed. You couldn't get all the people to travel to the capital to cast their votes on everything, so you just sent an elected representative over there, done. Same thing for the electoral college. It has nothing to do with protecting the country side from the cities, nothing. 1 vote should always have the same value as any other vote. Now it does not.
