Banning muslims, banning Syrians, telling Merkel that she should not let anyone in the EU etc etc.

@trekrich Obama did things to normalize relations with for example Cuba, after 60 years of boycott style protectionism, Obama did not spend all his time spewing racist hatred towards the foreigners on twitter and it was not the central part of any of Obama's political campaigns, it matters what the political leaders say. Whatever actually happens on the border (nothing changed much) what matters is that a political leader is allowed to spew racist hatred and to make it his political platform.

@trekrich the way of America is dozens and dozens of Trillions in Debt, perhaps hundreds or thousands of Trillions of total public and private debt. The US economy is going to eventually collapse. You're defending the racism by defending the way they say. It's just basically peddling to the racist vote, how Trump got elected. He got elected by racism. As long as poor countries are getting fucked there will be migrants, 500 million migrants are coming. Nothing you can do to keep them out.

@trekrich if your country is an asshole country that goes around the world bombing everybody to death, corrupting dictators, enforcing drug policies that lead to drug gangs, if your foreign policy boycotts whole regions leading to more war and suffering, if you go kill the dictators that don't follow your orders to steal their oil, you then have the friggen fucking responsibility to take in any and all migrants coming in from and through those countries that you destroyed. It's that simple.

@trekrich immigrants contribute more to the economy than they take. It's just 100% plain wrong to suggest that they leech off benefits and the like. They pay more in taxes and otherwise contribute much more than they take. Most importantly, the migrants exist because of Western world's bombing them, corrupting them, US organized coups, US put dictactors in place, US drug policy fuels drug gangs and drug violence, US is at fault on everything and must pay the consequence.

@trekrich Australia is an island in the middle of nowhere. You want to steal all the smart people out of the poor countries, that is evil and bad. Take their good people and take their less educated ones too. But to appease you, I am sure AOC can implement automated drone system on the border that can constantly surveil and detect any humans crossing the border and target out border enforcement people to whoever is trying to cross the border. Done. No need for a crazy wall, AOC's drones are 100x cheaper to implement.
