@rebeccaheckyea Teen vogue being on point is always bizzare, because like for example; Right now I open this article, agree whoheartedly and as I go to close the tab get a "YEAH SIGN UP FOR OUR MAILING LIST, MAKEUP! ACNE! TEEN STUFF!" full screener
Remember when Trump tweeted βThe world is laughing at usβ and βWeβre a laughing stockβ because we had a Black man as president?
Yeah... that didnβt age well.
The entire General Assembly of the UN laughed at him today when he tried to say heβs achieved more in 2 years than anyone in the history of the US. It would feel so good if it didnβt mean that shit stain is running the country and will probably threaten the whole world now.
@mawr@mona Well I personally have nothing to do with FOSS. I *am* however, an experienced analyst, designer, and user. I also wrote documentation for many years. A problem can't be resolved by anyone unless it is described. So far, all I've seen are a lot of shapeless rants. I'm not being arrogant. The truth is, if you want anything in the world to change, you have to take an active part on changing it. Politics, culture, software, anything.
@Altivo@mawr then there's the general issue that attempting to get answers to any technical questions means dealing with a community that is deeply hostile to questions
when you use Linux you don't just get some bad software, you also are practically forced to deal with a community. this is encouraged in fact, because there is little in the way of reliable documentation. you're supposed to appeal to collective knowledge
