I'm excited to work and finish up this new Web blogging engine I'm hashing out for https://jacky.wtf/. It'll have a lot of the IndieWeb specs in-built and give me a bit more control over how I let other people use/work with my site.

However, the MIT license and more loose licenses like it allows companies like Amazon to eat the work and labor of the open source community with minimal contribution to the original community.

One thing I really need to get better at is using hashtags on here. 🐦 made us think of them as spammy when they're pretty effective of doing semantic, user driven tagging for content.

DIDs are fully under the control of the DID subject, independent from any centralized registry, identity provider, or certificate authority. DIDs are URLs that relate a DID subject to means for trustable interactions with that subject. DIDs resolve to DID Documents — simple documents that describe how to use that specific DID.
