It's not perfect or even ready (it's missing many languages too including massive ones like German), but I couldn't find any other alternatives as developed as this :blobsad:

Hopefully someone can work with the code already released to make it more privacy-friendly.

As far as I know DeepL isn't free or open?

Something often requested is a libre alternative to Google Translate.

There's a site called Apertium which is a free open translation system:

Instances *are* independent, the admins run them and decide on the rules.

Your reply has got absolutely nothing to do with Mobilizon, why are you posting this?

I'm not even going to go into this topic, they've already told you why it is not allowed on that instance (and it is a very good reason indeed).

Instances all have different rules and that is their right. If you don't like one instance go to a different one.
