I want to learn to draw comics, but have no idea where to start. Got myself a couple books on techniques, but they're too advanced for me. Is there an online set of exercises or something, for the very basics?

My short term goal is faces & the human figure. (both male, female).

The story of the competition between MS-DOS and DR-DOS is quite interesting. Microsoft specifically tweaked Windows' code so it wouldn't run on DR-DOS, even if there were no technical limitations for it.

There was a millionaire lawsuit and Microsoft settled out of court.

@dansup One of the things I love about projects like this is that the developers are down to earth and listen to their userbase, making the project not just the work of a lonely genius that can boast in his talent (or his ability to swindle gullible programmers), but the collective work of a community willing to cooperate for the greater good.

This is the very definition of synergy: The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Gen-Xer born in #Mexico; since kid I was a #computer #nerd and liked #anime and #scifi, so it was logical I'd eventually discover the #cyberpunk genre (#ghostintheshell, #akira, #neuromancer, #bubblegumcrisis, #parasitedolls, #lain...)

Aside from that I've done #opensource and #freesoftware; have gnu/#Linux on my PC and recently I discovered #decentralization.

Currently #amwriting a scifi novel about #AI and #androids.
