But its okay I can just load a SD card full of FLACs,. put it in a sd to cf converter, and pu thtat in a cf to zif converter, and boom SD based ipod classic with usb drive like capability

@tom to me having everything on the go is having a large storage card an ogg vorbis versions of my music

Perhaps if I could afford reliable data then it might be different.
