@setavulos an absolute baby
stretchhy
it didnt happen because i wasted a bunch of time trying to restore a database backup on this small hard drive. i shall accept my pokes with due shame
i was in my stitch fix outfit, washing down my blue apron dinner with some winc wine, when all at once nordvpn pinged. "oh, woah, what's this?" i wondered. maybe my skillshare hacker skills would finally be useful. i opened up lastpass and copied the password into 1password. a couple more clicks and i was in. at last, my ziprecruiter queries had paid off. i put the finishing touches on my squarespace website and published it in just one click. "this calls for a naturebox snack"
@witchfynder_finder i think i actually meant eyeliner so spot on except for the words that i wrote
@CobaltVelvet looking forward to the Important moderation work
@witchfynder_finder do i spy some eye shadow or are you naturally A Little Bit Goth
okay, ran out of space. deleted some large files from old college projects...i really need more granular file sync
@phobos_dthorga yeah ubuntu 18.04 (so not exactly a minimal distribution, although i at least avoided the bloatware the installer adds by default)
i'm banking on the database data being smaller once its in postgres than it is as a plaintext .sql file
play YOU ARE A WIZARD today for that good good "i got into a big fight with sherlock holmes and he broke up with me" content
@phobos_dthorga it's brand new. who the fuck makes a new laptop with a 250GB hard drive in 2019? asus, thats who
i probably should have gotten a laptop with a slightly bigger hard drive. restoring this cybre.space database backup for development purposes may very well take me down to 0 free space
@HTHR @eq it's okay i've come to terms with the fact that i'm extremely easy to own
@eq @HTHR it's rude because i thought i had inadvertently fucked something up even though i'm only doing mastodon dev locally
gonna try to get the 3.0 upgrade done tonight. i hereby give permission to poke me if it doesn't happen
