So production cannot be scaled up and increased demand will only deplete the truffles for everyone. So use sparingly.

Note on truffles. This is not something you want to over consume or encourage overconsumption of. We cannot cultivate them. They must be grown wild and encouraging this is imperfect as we dont understand why they grow.

You can get black truffles off of ebay and make your own oil using olive oil as the base. Totally worth it.

Yes its not cheap to buy a small bottle of it, but with how little i use it it will last a long time and the flavor is very very worth it. If you can add that to your spice cabinet
