hi all, i am switching over to pleroma because it makes more sense for my needs (as a single user instance)
you can find me over at @kaniini -- any hardening work that i did for mastodon hardened will probably be redone for pleroma at some point if it makes sense there, but i need to learn elixir better first :)
chronyd sets new time, this causes an interrupt ACK to be fired by the timer (e.g. a silicon bug because ARM is garbage), chrony gets confused and sets the time again, another ACK happens, etc until the whole box goes unstable
again it had nothing to do with your inquiry but others trying to do AGPL enforcement on your behalf (which you should also not tolerate because it may compromise your own rights in such enforcement actions)
inside their platform, the link was still present, so it would still have been AGPL compliant
i mean, don't get me wrong, hiveway is shitty, it's just a lot of people had the wrong idea of AGPL in that context and started bothering them with complete nonsense arguments about what AGPL requires them to do
what is fundamentally hilarious is the continued misunderstanding of what obligations the AGPL actually requires. specifically, that most instances with modified copies of mastodon are not in compliant with the AGPL because the software points them to the official mastodon repo instead.
I had a dream last night where we were in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and taking a bath was now considered a huge luxury that was controlled by walmart through owning all of the bathtubs and owning all of the water.
