So I made some annotations to a #PDF with a stylus. And it turns out, neither #Evince nor #Okular can open them! Only some obscure app called #MasterPdfEditor can do it, but it's quite slow (and not open source).
Is there something I'm missing?

I used overleaf as well, but ended up minding the browser/cloud shenanigans :)

thanks but I'm actually using Kile at the moment and it has a few bugs and development seems to be slow, + a kind of weird maintainer

you are aware of #zotero I assume?

So what #Libre #Latex editors is everyone using? #Vim mode is a must of course.
For the moment I don't want to use pure vim for this, some GUI functions are nice to have.

yes but the generated images being square has nothing to do with it. You could easily make images of any shape with GANs

I ended up finding Bayesian methods quite limiting. They may be nice in theory and have a few nice applications. But in general it's too complicate to set up a Bayesian framework, and you end up making your model overly simple, just to "be bayesian"

Maybe #tox isn't running stable enough? I mean matrix, or rather the matrix-clients aren't that stable either but tox..

It's absolutely hilarious that you sometimes have to run the #pdflatex command up to 3 times such that the document is compiled correctly. Why can they not just make this command deterministic, such that no matter how many times I've run it, it will produce the right result, every time?
