@temporaryDouchebag I love the Gordon Ramsay meme thingy at the end of the article
I sorted out the vocal levels. They are a little more balanced. I still.need to do another take.
Should I leave The Seedman in there ??

@amuir My Cherie Amour by Stevie Wonder
Thanks to my whistling at soundhound
@amuir I can't remember
@temporaryDouchebag I was going through my jingle spare parts bin and found that Seedman clip. I threw it in for shits and giggles.
Vocals are a little too forward in the mix, but I'll try to to a retake once I can actually sing it straight without screwing the words up.
I giggled a little at the ending when I played it back
Jingle demo:
What I (Dis)Like About Harvey
Vocal needs some work.....but it always will when you can't sing properly in the first place
@amuir it was the "My Sharia Law" song that got me. Then Live Potion #9 as I did the Love Potion 33 jingle
The trouble is, you know a few words to the original, but when I rewrite them, I learn them so I can sing them without looking at the lyrics. It comes out more authentic.
So the parody gets imbedded into the 101 party songs you kind of know, but the original lyrics forgotten
@SierraKiloBravo yup. That's my evening and the clash with my 7 year old son.
roses are red
violets are blue
in surveillance capitalism
poem reads you
and shows you ads
for flower shops
and tracks your clicks
and never stops
it cares not about
if privacy's harmed
the money is green
when people are farmed
twitter is cyan
facebook is blue
your friends are the product
and so are you
I had some tradies (aussie for work men) fixing up the roof next door, playing one of those golden oldies radio stations.
It's funny when you hear the original song, and you go to sing along and the only lyrics that come into your head are the No Agenda jingles
ITM @shaunvis
@YoVinnie the young guys who played after us had the hair, and the moves, & the leather pants & the Sebastian Bach support.
We got the laughs and the cheers
I over vibratoed on the last dying solo note at the end of the song, on the twin neck and slipped the G on 15 of the top E off the edge of the neck, not the desired effect & obvious mistake, so I stopped looked at the guitar, looked at the crowd, pointed at the guitar and said "I don't know? Slash made it look easy !!!"
@ChrisWilson @YoVinnie @snarf0l0gist
Ok, we're on the same page. Just slightly different wording.
That said, I know plenty of right libertarians who would go shooting and smoke pot.
Probably best not simultaneously, however.
@cGt2099 if @adam thinks it's worthwhile, I'll tighten it up. It's a bloody hard read, that's for sure. Getting the cadence right takes practice. I just punched it out one afternoon in about 30 mins, from cold, including the rewrite from an old trigger warning.
I was going to try it as a bit at a comedy open mic night. So I need 2 mins at least. The ideal end of show length is 90 secs, unless it's really good. Under 30s for during the show and not more than 10 secs for an evergreen.
@YoVinnie @snarf0l0gist @Ardral that's minarchist not monarchist
We don't want no lizard people runnin' things 'round there 'ere parts !!
@Ardral centre on the left v right scale. Left being community managed resources v right being privately owned resources.
A left libertarian you join a band with and smoke pot with. A right libertarian you go into business with and go shooting with.
It's the left v right on one scale, and authority & enforced compliance v liberty and voluntary exchange.
Minarchist I guess would be what I'm getting at, but not quite.
I'm waiting for the morning coffee to cut in
@Combaticus keep it going if you can, but if you're trying to do this AND keep a family fed, it's tough. I know how much is "costs" me to play music, but it is more socially acceptable than heroin.
What do you call a Podcaster without a girlfriend ?........homeless !!
@Ardral @snarf0l0gist @YoVinnie
Centre between left and right and libertarian / anarchist / monarchist in terms of not seeking control over others
I find a lot of confusion with language surrounding the idea of "people making their own choices and being responsible for them in a society based on cooperation and adherence to the NAP" vs authoritarianism which is rampant in the SJW and pushed by the Soros funded organisations while he goes short on civilisation
I sent this to @adam sometime ago

Sometimes stuff is good, but doesn't pass muster. But your artwork good. I noticed it surfing the art generator for jingle art
"Harvey and the plant" last show was tooooo too good :-)
Puppy selfie. She’s a keeper.
