@adam I think that clip on Sunday's show with Sharpton talking about federalizing police simply has to do with the assumption that he and his fellow travelers would be in charge. That he would be one of the philosopher kings/consultants that would have the input in how it would be chartered and monitored etc.

It's a scam.

Obviously they did it for $$$ reasons (share price etc) also as a marketing gimmick.

So it could be multiple reasons - though I think the point is really they don't need a reason. It is framed as being freedom for the employee to quit whenever - and sure that's true! But it isn't the whole truth.
