Yo @yukiame ITM and Happy Show Day! No worries, you come over and we will have a pig hunting gun for you. My oldest son is looking at getting a couple large caliber pellet guns. Lots of folks using pellet guns for hog hunting. UK allows pellet guns use on private property.

Or, if you desire, you can use a knife, or a spear. I think it's nuts but people do hunt them that way.

Take the time to go and check out how your meat is processed. I try to limit the amount of commercial meat on the table.

Yo @yukiame the whole southeast of the US is lousy with feral hogs. In Texas they say over 4 million feral pigs. No limits, and can hunt them year round. Can't kill enough, fast enough to make a dent in the population.

They can tear up large tracks of farmland in the blink of an eye. They are considered an invasive species. Lots of environmental benefits from killing as many as possible.

Private hunting places sweet feed them grains. Good eating and cheap per pound.

Yo @yukiame have been meaning to update the fishing plans. Everyone couldn't get time, at the same time to reschedule. Water's getting cold too. Looking at springtime. Best time of year for big bass.

In the meantime, freezer's getting low on meat.

The sport fishing boats outta San Diego are catching lots of fish. Overnite bottom fishing can put meat in the larder.

Me and my boys are considering a run to Texas for a hog hunt. Mmmmm, bacon.

In Canberra, where I lived...until I decided to do something about it.....it was legal....ok decriminalised...to have up to 25 grams, which we used to call a Canberra Ounce

It was also not criminal to have up to 6 plants.

Everyone I knew had a plot in the bushland near by, or a couple of plants in pots. None of this crazy hydro shit, just good home grown bush weed.

Any crack down on pot just pushes the plants into cupboards, and not in the sun, rain and soil
