Anyone got figures on the number of users & servers/instances for XMPP versus Matrix?

No probs.
Once you get the 110s look into getting a new case fan. That will mostly solve any noise problem.I haven't had to do it recently, but this company did wellfor me in the past:

I should think the case fan makes the most noise, followed by the CPU fn. Pretty sure the PSU is a gentle hum, you wouldn't hear it from 1 metre + -

They were definitely intended as departmental servers, so busy office might be more like it.On the plus side they were/are utterly reliable. I ran both of them for 24/7 for two years. Other than kernel upgrades they never stopped once.

Erm, I've had it for quite a few years, never had any problems. Docs have long since been chucked. I need to fire them up to check the hardware.Bearable in a livingroom, but noticeable. They do the usual whooosh when starting, then go a little quieter.
Compared to 1Us they are quiet.

I never saw the TV debate, but I seem to remember all the candidates were claiming "exotic" backgrounds. Maybe not that exotic. -

The Tory party members would elect Genghis Khan if they thought he could deliver Brexit. That isn't an exaggeration. -

Results of the last MP round:
Johnson 160
Hunt 77
Gove 75One spoiled ballot paper.
So, (as expected) Johnson & Hunt go through to the final contest where the Tory party members choose their leader. That leader then becomes the UK Prime Minister.
Around 120,000 Conservative party members are entitled to vote. Results in about 1 month.

To what end? She doesn't have a vote in the matter (until it goes to all the Tory party members). Saying these things is just about getting a name check on the news. There was only ever one person likely to win, and that wasn't Javid. Clue: he has a blonde mop.

That thing in The Matrix where Trinity (and the others) could download skillsets on demand would be cool. You go to O'Reilly or Manning just before bedtime and download "QT for Geniuses". Pop the interface in your ear before sleep. In the morning you have the new skillset all ready to go.PS
The app sounds great. -

Too many interests is a problem I recognise.Set yourself an objective to, say, write chapter 1 by July 20th, and put it in your calendar/todo list/on the 'fridge/whatever. If you don't formalise things they'll forever stay on the back burner.
