@epicmorphism @xenophora there are other users, but the adminβs attitude is concerning to me.

Hello, friends,
Once again I find myself needing to ask for money, after we were sure we'd finally be in the clear. The insurance company is still working on ways to give me less money for my settlement than would cover my doctor bills, we weren't able to keep the car, and due to my doctor's office being lax with paperwork I've now missed five!!! disability checks and run the risk of losing my job.
So um. If there's anything you could spare us at the moment, it would be greatly appreciated. Right now we're burning through what remains of our bank account and it's getting progressively more and more scary, our balance is now down to just a couple hundred dollars. Any amount would help, or even just spreading this page around if you aren't able to give.
Thank you so much. <3

@xenophora itβs not necessarily that the instance itself is anti-trans, but that the admin is absolutely fine hosting posters that are transphobic on other instances.

mastodon.technology is under attack from freefedifollowers dot ga, it's follower spam.
Mastodon where's your notification and incoming rate limiting?

INSTANCE BLOCK:
freefedifollowers dot gaActivityPub Follow spam.
The idiot behind it doesn't even know how to properly generate "random" names, and is clearly enumerating through a couple for loops and concatenating hand typed or integer things together.

I'm probably going to be blocking mastodon.gamedev.place. It's admin has shown that he is entirely willing to platform a transmysogynist's projects,
and refuses to act on the evidence I've sent him multiple times.

@kaniini @anna @violet the "decorated" property that uses SSD has been present and default since 2.4, so not sure how it could have broken Audacious. -

@violet @kaniini @anna GNOME only asks for CSD when you are following the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines - or targeting GNOME. This is not a GTK thing. I am very sure that GTK itself will always provide the option to use SSD.
Non-GNOME apps can choose to use CSD as they have been. Us using CSD for GNOME apps does not at all affect non-GNOME apps or the use of them on non-GNOME desktops.

@kaniini @anna @violet what do you even mean? CSD is optional in GTK. Each app chooses whether or not it uses it. -

@violet @kaniini @anna CSD is entirely optional in GTK, but if you're referring to Wayland CSD is a part of the spec. -

@kaniini @flussence @anna @violet this really isn't how it works. Things can change quite a bit when you're working with 20 years of code. People come and go, and design paradigms shift. We rework our app set when needed, sometimes replacing an app with an another that does it's functions better. -
