Purism recently credited me for a bit of work in their July update. It was the last bit of unpaid work I did for them before I found out about Librem One. I still feel kind of shitty getting credited for helping them at all.

What are some good tutorials on learning elixir?

That was the shittiest thing I had experienced in a long while.

The reason I was so upset yesterday was because I finally scored an interview with a company that I wanted to work with. I was fully qualified for it in every other capacity but the degree. Multiple colleagues recommended it to me. After the interview was scheduled, they asked me if I had a degree. I had to tell them no. They quickly cancelled the interview and rejected my application.

Someone can have all the right experience to do a job, but if they don’t have the right sheet of paper they can be rejected.

@oct2pus @Deiru I’ve actually found go modules far easier to work with than GOPATH. Unfortunately, the system we need to package for has a version of Go that doesn’t support modules.
