@mathpunk Yeah for people who need that to be better there's a bunch of small tools that fix this and really allow you to customise things better than Linux does.

I found the customisability on Linux to be fairly limited unless you count: pick a really esoteric and barely usable window manager and try to force it into your muscle memory.

Programming isn’t difficult. It’s made difficult by people without skill and/or will.

@machado This is all far beyond what's possible in international relations but saying: if you eject thousand of able men from your country, you will receive them back schooled in liberal democratic doctrine and trained in small arms combat. That would change things.

If we have to deport people back into a warzone (more or less indefensible but those are our democratic rules), couldn't we at least give them a choice of insertion point and stack them with small arms and dollars?

Listening to Runciman and realizing that there's no way this could happen in Germany. Professors of political science here have a sedative force that is at least on par with the Entertainment.
