MNT is restarting development of Spacedeck, a web-based realtime visual collaboration tool originally started by Martin Guether and me in 2011: https://spacedeck.com (now open-source software). The new version is now in early beta. You can ask me for the invite code if interested in beta testing the hosted version.

it’s a working system. the only thing left to validate is the charger / battery monitor. then it’s time for board rev 2, finishing the case design and kick off the crowdfunding

Reform 2 bringup progress: wall & battery power, usb, ethernet, audio, hdmi, reset all work. what doesn’t work: PCIe (no link), SD card (only some older, full size SD cards work). untested: MIPI DSI->eDP. most scary part because only experimental drivers exist.

got the sample of Boundary Devices Nitrogen8M i.MX8M SOM we’re gonna use as the first CPU/GPU/RAM module in MNT Reform 2. pretty high end process on this one.

also nice: 1. all component references on silkscreen 2. various testpoints with labels 3. full schematics for download on website (!)

soldering the cherry ML slim mechanical switches into Reform keyboards. every key has a diode which prevents ghosting and allows for n-key rollover (NKRO). the controller is atmel mega32u4, the firmware is FOSS and based on the LUFA library.
