I was disappointed with how my first attempt at a cranberry cider using sweetened dried cranberries turned out. It definitely had cranberry flavor, but it also had a weird viscosity and wasn't that appealing. I also lost a lot of liquid that the berries soaked up.

I decided to try again, this time using cranberry juice. I mixed 1 quart of cranberry juice with a little less than 3 quarts of apple juice, and added enough sugar to bring the sweetness back up to pure apple juice levels. Hopefully this one gets a better result.

Lots of FUD starting to spread about the GOPs refusal to recognize Biden as the prelude to a coming coup. I think a simpler explanation is that despite Trump's loss, the Republican Party is still very much Cult 45, and while most of the Congressional Republicans fully expect Trump to go, nobody wants to be the one to step into the crosshairs and have their own base, which is a microcosm of Trump's base, turn on them. Much safer to just wait it out, let Trump fizzle, and then pretend later that they were being steadfast rather than cowardly.

Or, you know, a it's coup. It's fucking 2020. Nothing surprises me anymore.

It could have been about anything, but I noticed a couple of unrelated people who were waiting to pick up their kids at the school this afternoon looked like they'd been crying.

It kills me that Trump supporters have now turned on Fox News. There's literally nothing except Trump himself that they won't turn on at the drop of a hat.
