10 days after filling the tank, and the monte carlo has almost fully covered the foreground. All of the other plants are doing well also. This will probably be the last photo until we get livestock.
Does anyone know of a URL shortener-type service for Tor hidden services? I think the biggest problem with hidden services is the totally unfriendly hostnames. It would be great to be able to post a URL like https://example.com/somearbitrarystring that redirects to a .onion url. I found this GitHub project but I can't find a site actually running it, and it's unclear from the README if it's anything other than a pure REST interface.
With ~4 billion fewer people on Earth, we're able to quickly reverse climate change, end world hunger, and raise the standard of living for everyone on the planet. The Avengers want to get revenge on Thanos, but instead he gets a Nobel prize. I mean, he can just snap his fingers and make 1,000 Nobel prizes appear, but he appreciates the thought. The end.
I finished all the episodes of The White Vault to date, so I went looking for similar stuff. I found The Black Tapes which is a pitch-perfect imitation of Serial. I'm interested to see where it goes.
I do this thing with my kid where if I read him a book that they've made into a movie, we watch the movie when we're done. Recently, I've been reading him The Hunger Games series. Book one was kind of sloppy, but holy shit, book two is barely coherent. I feel bad for the people who had to make it into a film. It's elevated minimally by some of the acting talent (Philip Seymour Hoffman for instance), but the story is still a trash fire. On top of this, the protagonist has always been shitty. She's stupid, in that she always completely misreads every situation she's in, and she's also kind of an asshole. It's one of those series like Harry Potter where the hero is mostly useless and falls backward into success largely due to the efforts of competent friends. Blaurgh.
