"Why don't browsers allocate bigger stack?"
Because shitty online games which rely on stack overflows for obfuscation are breaking then, that's why. For reals.

@RAOF Yeah, I know, and I find all of that incredibly depressing. Not because "people should know better" or something, but because it means we technologists have been horribly failing at our duties.

I made a chart of how many people read any given pair of webcomics, against how many would be expected to read that pair if they chose what to read entirely at random, and, it's colorful and pretty and I'm proud of it 😁

Stuff outside the Poisson iso-lines is statistically significant. To the left, more people read the pair than can be explained by pure chance, so there's probably some reason to believe they're related. Pairs to the right seem like people who read either avoid the other one.

yay, 35 minutes on the phone with my mom because she insisted I help her figure out how to make .docx files open in LibreOffice instead of in Word and wouldn't accept that I don't know how to do anything in Windows. so I did the web search for her, found instructions with screenshots, dealt with several rounds of her screen not looking like the screenshots I found, eventually we got it to work, and for that I'm a "genius". no, that's not what that word means,

PSA, please boost! If you take testosterone as a shot, one thing you need to watch out for is the vial "crystalizing". I was warned about this, but had no idea what it looked like until my vial was quite advanced. I've attached photos so others know what the crystals look like. The crystals will dissolve if you gently warm it up by putting it in your pocket for 5-10 minutes. If they don't, it's time to get a new vial.

Since I have some unexpected availability, I'm offering a couple of spots for a 30 minute code of conduct evaluation for your open source project or FLOSS community event. It's a flat fee and previous clients have found it to be a very helpful starting point! http://lifeofaudrey.com/2018/07/16/coc-consult.html
