Consider how fucked up our higher education system is: In 2015, Yale paid $480M to the hedge fund that manages their endowment and only $170M on students.

Trump is not letting Sessions federalize it - Congress federalized it. It's up to them to un-federalize it.

That's been Trump's MO - get rid of ruling by executive fiat and make Congress do their job. He doesn't want to pick and choose which federal laws should be followed be up to The President. If there's a bad law (illegal weed), let Congress repeal it. If there's a good law (no illegal immigration) he wants to be able to enforce it.

That's exactly what I said - he said it should be a State's rights issue - not that he's for or against legalization.

As it stands, there is a federal law prohibiting it. He does not write/repeal federal law - that's the job of Congress.

@jco42 If it could be linked back to the theology, then yes. It forces those wishing to keep the tenets of the faith, but in a peaceful manner that does not tolerate wanton violence, to rebrand.

@jco42 An ideology not able to exist peacefully with modern society should not be given a haven to congregate. I reject the term "fringe" because it is a dilution of the problem based on the notion of there being 1.6B Muslims and "only" hundreds of bombings/acts of terror.
