Great letter in the local paper today from a janitor making $11.80/hr, who also has a bachelor's and masters degree, saying that he struggles making ends meet.

He even questioned if the Superintendent and principals should be making more than the janitor.

@YoVinnie @yukiame The everyday transaction problem is solved by Ripple, but that's more of a centralized currency masquerading as a cryptocurrency.

BTC is (by those believing in it) more of a store of value, like gold, but more flexible. I could see it used for large transactions that need verification.

I have no idea where it all goes, but I'd rather be in an go to $0 than out and it booms.

@zachbrown Yeah, worked there from 95-98ish. Favorite memory was helping a pregnant lady find a used game, so I'm naming off all these Genesis games and say "Budokan" and she stops. "Hmm, that's a great name, I'm going to name this kid Budokan."

@zachbrown It was an amazing place to work. Outside of holidays and maybe a short after work rush, I basically just played games all day and did a little inventory every night.
