@adam @mrmcmayhem Everything points the the Precise Timing Facility back in Italy. If we look at present time. After all this nonsense at the bureaucratic level in the elaboration of the system, my gut tells me it might be sabotage at this station. The problem i hate is that the German station also went offline.

Technically, this shouldn't happen. There are two for redundancy.

There is so much fuckery around that program its making my head spin....

@adam @mrmcmayhem Woah so much for redundancy then! Looking at their record, it seems that Galileo has had trouble ever since its inception.

Every step of the way, they had troubles, whether its with the US (scared an enemy would use the system to target American forces) in the beginning, financial problems (im looking into Thales Alenia Space, those guys look like trouble looking at their record) etc.

@adam @mrmcmayhem True. They did build it in the first place, all these systems have exclusive use for the military in the first place, across all parties. Free goodies always come with strings attached thinking of the 10B$ invested in Galileo only.

They also have exclusive 1m precision encrypted bands for military use.

What cought my attention is this part:

"The system is intended primarily for civilian use, unlike the more military-oriented systems of the United States (GPS), Russia (GLONASS), and China (BeiDou-1/2). The European system will only be subject to shutdown for military purposes in extreme circumstances (like armed conflict).[16]"

So it "might" be something here, but i wont confirm anything yet.
