Nevermind y'all. I found a package specifically meant to get rid of the gnome-desktop dependency for evince and make evince stand-alone.

@iiogama @abs Turns out I'm an idiot. muPdf isn't a pdf viewer. That's why it doesn't open. It's more like a tool for rendering pdfs.

@abs @iiogama I'm considering it. Does it have annotation features? Or can they be added through an existing plugin/extension/etc?

@dulcet But what aspect of the composition in particular do you think is off?

@dulcet I know what you mean. After I took the picture I got the same feeling also. But when you're actually standing there I feel like you don't even notice compositional flaws or whatever. It just kind of looks good, probably because it gives the area more personality.

Not a super fan of the Voidz though I think they make some good tracks, but everything sounds better live and one of my friends had an extra ticket so I went. Beardo and the band was great and I feel like I could appreciate their music more this way than the studio recordings because I can distinctly make out all the instruments. I wanted to be immersed so took no pics of the concert. But I did take a few pics of the neighborhood cuz of all the good graffiti.

@iiogama @abs I had installed it but for some reason it wouldn't open. :( I might try it again later and look for a fix.

Can't wait to get to the part where I have to make gtk and qt look nice together.

@abs I think I considered that but it apparently had gnome-desktop or something as a package dependency iirc.

I don't wanna install KDE desktop environment just to be able to install Okular on Arch. For now I'm sticking to i3+polybar. Anybody got an alternative to Okular that has almost all the features that Okular has?

@dulcet I don't know yet. I'm thinking of just doing some research first so I have some sort of basic design idea, maybe do an initial test (tho I *am* feeling a bit more daring so I might skip it!), then do the official install.

@ky0ko I wish I had experience with tofu. Could make me take a break from the meat. Especially considering how much low-cost meat varies in quality these days.

Doing an overdue backup of my home directory. Hoping to burn an Arch Linux iso and then boot onto Arch and go through installation process.

@dulcet Hm.. Too much caffeine? Anxiety? etc.?

Managed to set up a wifi/lan extender today so my parent's TV have faster dl speeds.
