@kai Only a specific model in economic theory implies that, and reality does not have to match the conditions of the model as you note. Even that model is pretty unsatisfactory, however, because it merely defines a competitive economy at the point of exchange such that the model's prediction is narrowed to a competitive bargaining situation. You could call it a market model, but it should probably not be called an economic model per se.

@murabito @RafiX There are some events that are free, at least where I live (e.g., free concerts). Tho even free events sometimes have elements that do cost money. But it might be nice if the atmosphere is nice as a way to chill a bit. And don't be ashamed about going places alone! I don't think it's as uncommon as people make it seem. And in any case the point is you're just taking a break from the house. not to mention it can kind of put u on the radar.
